Dispatch
The Transcend Host adapter (HA) provides the application interface to tightly integrate to Computer Aided Dispatch systems for delivery of incident dispatch information. The Transcend Message Switch manages the successful delivery and acknowledgement of dispatch messages to the appropriate field resources across multiple wireless networks.
Automatic Vehicle Location
Dispatchers ability to monitor and manage field resources is enhanced through map-based dispatching and GPS functionality. Transcend provides Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) data to the CAD Host System, allowing dispatchers to monitor and manage incidents and the field resources in real-time.
Messaging
Status updates, text messages and emergency duress messages are available from the Transcend Mobile Client. The user interface and business rules are configurable based upon operational requirements.
Navigation
The Transcend Mobile Client can provide optional navigation capability that automatically initiates visual and audio driving directions when responding to an incident, transporting to a hospital or returning to the station.
