Zone AlertZoneAlert draws driver’s attention to school crossing signs at critical times during the school day by activating flashing high intensity LED lights over the top of existing School Zone signs. Wireless communications are used to advise a central reporting system when the signs come on and off and to monitor the status of the system. This high end control system allows management of thousands of signs nation wide supporting unlimited calendars, variable flashing rates and optional alert devices. Each sign consists of an outlined 40 symbol with four rows of red LEDs circling the 40. Signs come in standard sizes of 600mm and 900mm matching existing static metal signs and allowing retrofitting of all zones around a school. Two optional flashing amber aspects can be added above the speed sign for even greater effect.
